Instructor

My name is Megan Pashak. I am an Equestrian Canada certified riding instructor. I completed the equine science and coaching program at Olds College (2019-2021). I have completed pony Club levels up to C2 and rider levels up to 6 (flat). I have over 10 years of riding experience and over 6 years of showing. I have competed in; eventing (entry level), Show jumping (1m), hunter jumper (2'9), dressage (second level), and skijoring. I was also a volunteer coach for the Cold Lake Beaver River Pony Club, and a coach for the Lake Land Long Riders 4H. Out side of Equestrian sports I am also a CSIA certified ski Instructor during the winter months. I am also a member of and volunteer with CADS (Canadian Adaptive Snow Sports).
I value diversity and being able to teach a variety of different skills. From beginners wanting to learn the basics or more advanced riders ready to get in the show ring. I create personalized lesson plans based off experiance and knowledge. I value saftey and enjoyment, I specialize in teaching confidence and safe practice. I belive it is also important to always be learning new things which is why I participate in multiple clinics of different disciplines each year to ensure my knowledge is up to date. I am also certified in first aid and concussion awareness to promote safety in my program.
